This course is your guide into the silent language of horses, where movement becomes the bridge to true understanding. Instead of forcing, guessing, or struggling, you’ll discover how to replace confusion with clarity, resistance with flow, and build lasting confidence for both you and your horse.

Inside, you’ll learn how to:

  • Practice embodiment to improve your own movement skills.

  • Move in sync with your horse (and others) through reciprocal motion.

  • Invite participation—rather than command it.

  • Build trust and confidence through shared movement experiences.

  • Enhance focus and quiet negative thoughts.

  • …and so much more!

Think of this as the foundation every horse person deserves before exploring more advanced work. You’re about to unlock a way of being with horses that feels natural, respectful, and deeply connected.

I’m so glad you’re here—let’s begin the dance.

About the teacher

Chris Adderson

Chris Adderson is a lifelong horsewoman, dancer, educator, and creator of the For The Horse approach, dedicated to helping riders and horses discover freedom, harmony, and profound connection. Drawing from decades of experience in horsemanship, classical dressage, and movement education, Chris guides riders beyond technique into a way of being with horses that is rooted in clarity, softness, and resonance. Her teaching weaves biomechanics, body integrity, and her original frameworks—such as Spiral, Slide Points®, and the Patterns of Reciprocity™—into practical pathways that empower both horse and human. Through her book Going Beyond: Mastering Unspoken Connections, her courses, and her community, Chris helps riders move with ease and grace while cultivating relationships that are authentic, joyful, and lasting. Chris believes that riding is not about control, but about creating a relational flow she calls Hum—a living, evolving conversation of energy and intention. Her work supports riders in developing confidence, self-belief, and the skills to serve their horse with presence and generosity, so that true unity and artistry naturally emerge.
